So this morning was interesting to say the least. In our current apartment, they have started an 8 week project to remove the existing fan coil units in each apartment.
While it is noble of them to want to be more energy efficent, us residents are constantly interrupted by loud banging and drills starting right at 8am every morning.
Well, this morning, they decided they needed to come into our unit right at 8am. I set my alarm for 730 the night before but i didnt wake up in time. So I'm laying in bed and all of a sudden, I hear a loud banging and it is our front door. I wasnt dressed, so when I heard the banging, I ran into the bathroom and hid.
I figured wh not take a shower while I'm in there, right? right. So I'm taking a shower and then I realize that me and Lex are going to the pool at 10am! So my shower was for nothing, I didnt get to sleep in, and we are living in a construction zone. ARG!!
Anyways, I have been missing out on telling you about my weekend, it was auctually really a great weekend. Friday we did our final review for studio, and my project critique went really well- it was very well received. (YAY)
Then Lex and I went to Mohegan Sun and saw Jason Mraz in concert! Ahh he was SOOOO good! I have a newfound love and appreciation for him. It was so nice because we also got to see my family for a couple of hours. We ended up driving back to boston at 1 am, and it was so fun.
On saturday, me and steve made the trip up to see his parents in NH, stopping on the way to our new apartment in Peabody, MA. (see pics below).
Saturday we took Steves brother Conner to dinner at Bugaboo Creek (yummy lodge themed restaurant) and to see G-Force (AMAZING MOVIE!!) After the movie, we got Coldstone and all went home and passed out, lol we are old!
Sunday, I went on my annual shopping run to Marshall's -for some reason the one in New Hampshire is soo great, much better than any other ones that I've been to. I got 2 pairs of shoes, a Michael Kors pink beach towel, a convertible dress, and new place-mats, napkins and curtians for our new apartment. Ah, retail therapy! Later, we met Steves mother at the country club for lunch and also had dinner with them. It was nice.
After all of this excitement, we came home and were so tired, we just went to bed, lol.
So today, Lex and I are going to the pool, hopefully it will be nice and sunny for the whole day!
