Are you there? It's me, Cassie!!

Ok, so I dont have many reason why i stopped blogging. Or maybe i do...

It has been so long since i have been on this site but looking back on these posts has made me want to do this again to remember everything that is going on right now. It is such an exciting time in my life that i don't want to forget anything! Here is a quick recap: 

I got married! 

I am so over the moon for my new hubby, it kinda scares me. We of corse have our ups and downs, but we make each other better people. Our wedding was amazing, the kind of thing that you always will remember. There was A LOT of prep work and stress associated with it, but in the end it was sooo worth it, I would do it again 100 times! We tried to make it as personal as we could, so we limited our guests to 85, which was a perfect number for us. My entire family came up to New Hampshire from the NY/NJ area just for the event, and it was so nice to have everyone together. 

The whole theme was teal and gold, and soft romantic touches with a vintage flair. It was so nice to see my vision come to reality. I had been thinking about this combo forever and had so many images saved of lovely spaces decorated in teal and gold. I love that now i look at the images and am so happy with the way they turned out. Here's a sneak peek at our guest tables:

The whole experience made me realize how happy and blessed i am in my life, and how lucky i am to have such amazing family and friends. My husband and i are so happy right now, we are on cloud nine!

We went on an amazing honeymoon to the Mediterranean on a 12 day cruise. More on that adventure in another post!!!

Secondly, we are in the process of moving because we bought a house!! I know we are crazy, but we have gotten married and now 2 months later, we are moving into our first home! IT is the cutest little yellow house, and i love it!!

It is definitely a crazy time right now, but we are taking one thing at a time. This post is really just to say Hello, I'm back and to give a tid-bit of whats going on. I have plans of full posts on everything later. So with that, I am going to bed, lol!!

Freedom

Ok, I know I havent posted in what feels like forever...but yesterday I did something

exciting...something that I have always wanted to do...something that I am overjoyed about....

I GOT A CAR!!!!!!

I am so thrilled to finally have my own slice of freedom around here and be able to ride around in my new 1999 Buick Century custom!! 

We of corse went to the supermarket already...here I am using the trunk for the first time, lolol!!

I am sooo excited...I cant wait to start cruising around in my new car!!

The comcast gods have smiled upon me.

I am finally back....2 weeks without internet have done crazy things to me. 

We have finally moved and I L_O_V_E the new place. It really feels like home and I cant wait to finish decorating it (It's almost there). Pix to come later...

Steve has started working full time and although he is exhausted, he really likes it and is glad to be getting paid, lol! 

I am still looking for a job and have had no luck thus far, but I know something will come along.  

Ok, I am going to get my camera now to take pictures of the new abode.

Graduation and such...

So I never posted anything about graduation and the party. Everything went rather smoothly, except for the EXTREME humidity that did quite the number on my hair for the day. I thought at the ceremony I would get all choked up about leaving school and friends, but the truth is I was relieved and in such a rush I didn't have time for really anything.

Last but not least, the result of my graduation cupackes....they were yummy!! (ignore the half eaten cake lol)

The party was fun too, and everyone was so generous with their gifts. We are so grateful to have such great people around us and families that love us. Now we are packing and getting ready to move on Monday- god how time flies. It seems like it was just yesterday that we were moving into this place and embarking on the adventure of living together. Now it is time to start our lives..(AH!)

Sam Adams Brewery

So the other half gets these emails al the time for events and such and he got one yesterday that said Sam Adams was having a beer and cheese night. To my delight, he siad we should check it out, and knowing that cheese was involved, I was super excited.

The closet...

So we are moving in less than 4 days and I have decided to make the walk in closet my own personal haven... the one i have always been dreaming of with lots of color and a seat and a vanity. With my tiny budget, it will be fun to see how much bang I can get for my buck. In the meantime, here are some closets that are drool-worthy...

In the FUNK....

So lately  have been in a funk, not wanting to make jewelry, not wanting to blog, not really wanting to do anything at all. I think it is the initial shock of being done with school and not really having a game plan for my future...ohhh man, it just a weird place that I am in right now and I am trying to get out of it. Still no job prospects, but we are moving into our new place in 12 days! wooo! Graduation is on Sunday, I'm sure I will post pics, and my whole family is comming up on saturday, so I am very excited. 

Lots has happened in the last couple of weeks, maybe I'll post about it later.
